MEET THE BOARD

President: Sherry Lin

Hey y’all! My name is Sherry Lin and I will be your ‘22-‘23 President for Key Club. This is a huge honor as I would of never thought of being the President for Key Club. For those of you who don’t know, I love to bake, cake and eat delicious food! I love watching kdrama so if you ever need anyone to discuss the drama with, I’m all ears. As for this service year, I hope to carry on the amazing legacy of our past president and befriend with all you key club members ! I am very passionate about helping children and people in need so my main goal will be including more service projects relating to that. I can’t wait to serve you all as president and make unforgettable memories!!

Vice President: Rami Kenawi

Hey everyone! I'm Rami Kenawi and I'll be the Vice President for the 2022-2023 service year. You might’ve seen me throughout Cardozo as I’m apart of various other clubs including science Olympiad and medical research. During my past time I enjoy running as I’m currently on the track team. I've been in Key Club since sophomore year, and I've served as treasurer as well as on the committee board, helping our club be recognized as one of the best in New York State! During my term, I’d like to focus on meeting all members needs as we may transition to fully in-person meetings next year. I hope to expand the club to even more people and add more affordable events/fundraisers that everyone can participate in. I look forward to meeting you all in person so in the meantime stay safe!

Hello Everyone! My name is Apple and I am a Junior! I will be your new Marketing and Media Committee Head for this service year! My role as a Committee head is to set standards for my committee and assign tasks to committee members. One of my goals for this service year is to win first place for the traditional scrapbook for LTC . I will be doing my best to make this service year fun. Thank you!

Committee Head: Maggie Lin

Hi guys ! my name is Maggie, I'm currently a junior and I'm really excited to be your next committee head for the fundraising and planning committee! I've been on the fundraising and planning committee for a while now so some of the events that have been coordinated were suggested by me. As committee head I plan to continue what I've been doing in terms of coming up events events and helping out w the planning process of events. I'm also open to any suggestions or ideas so if you have any feel free to let me know. I'll be working really hard w the other board members hoping to make this service year an unforgettable one!

Committee Head: Faustina Lin

Hey Key clubbers! My name is Faustina and I’m a sophomore. I will be your committee head assistant during this service year. My role as the committee head assistant is to help out both the committee heads and the board with creating and planning events. One of my many goals for this year is to win first place for all the LTC awards. You guys can always reach out to me if you need anything! I’ll make sure this will be a very fun service year! I hope to meet you all!

Outer Secretary: Brayden Pan

Hello everybody! I am Brayden Pan and is currently a junior. I love trying out new foods and exploring NYC with my friends. Some of the the things I enjoy doing on my free time are playing basketball, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. I'm a really hard worker who will always complete a task when handed to. I'm very dedicated and passionate to Key Club as I've made so many friends and helped out so much people through volunteering events. As secretary, I plan on completing hours quickly and efficiently. I also hope to also apply key clubs for many awards in the future.

Inner Secretary: Amber Sun

Hi, I'm Amber Sun. I am excited to be part of the executive board and look forward to meeting you all. Key Club means a lot to me. Through Key Club, I grew a lot as a person and gained confidence, as well as making a lot of friends who I am very close to now. I hope to be able to share the same amazing experience and make a positive impact on the club. My plans for the upcoming year is to be consistent with updating meeting hours weekly, so that all members can see their hours on a regular basis. Some of the things I enjoy doing on my free time are drawing, listening to music, and watching TV shows. Thank you for entrusting in me to be your inner secretary, and let's have a great service year!

Treasurer: Daniel Cho

Hey fellow Key Clubbers! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Daniel Cho and I will be your upcoming Treasurer for the 2022-2023 Term. Some of the things I enjoy doing in my freetime include hanging out with my friends, gaming, reading, and shopping. I hope to increase club membership and activity as well as promote fun and exciting fundraising events for everyone to enjoy. Now that all the mandates are settling down and we are slowly shifting towards post-COVID era, I am hoping to innovate and transition accordingly and will make sure to be punctual and well organized. I look forward to spending the next service year with such amazing Board, Committee and Club members and am exhilarated for what we will all be able to accomplish next year. I look forward to working alongside all of you.

Hi everyone! My name is Lucia, I am a junior, and I will be your editor for this service year. I love to read books, watch anime, listen to music, and write calligraphy. My passions include dance and serving my community. I am really excited for this service year and I hope to fulfill the duties of my position to the best of my ability. I hope that you are all able to make meaningful connections and memories in this club. I look forward to meeting and working with you all!

Hello Key Clubbers! My name is Brandon Moy and I will be your webmaster for the 2022-23 service year. I am currently a Junior and joined Key Club during my freshmen year. I love to watch and play basketball along with listening to music. One of my favorite NBA teams is the Brooklyn Nets who currently have Kyrie and KD (Favorite Duo). I am a really extroverted person so feel free to say hi to me in the hallway. During my free time I would go to track practice or play basketball. I will always find ways to improve myself in the game. Now back to Key Club, I hope to see some of you at events, fundraiser or meetings. This year I plan on making our discord server more active along with making this website more appealing. I will fulfill my promise as webmaster to give all of you a wonderful experience in Key Club! I look forward to meeting all of you!!!

District 8 LTG: Yifei Wang

I am Yifei Wang, a junior at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School. I am the secretary of our club for 2021-2022 service year and am excited to be your LTG for the 2022-2023 Service Year. For the new service year, I desire to increase the connection between clubs across our division. Communication is key for success. I will do my best to make sure to share all information to every member in our division and create a platform so the members are comfortable reaching out to me about any concerns. I hope as the pandemic gets better, I am able to interact with you all and know more about you. I can not wait to work with you all and continue the success of Division 8, the biggest division in New York District!
